Improve your life

Improve your life!

Physically. Intellectually. Emotionally. Spiritually. Socially.

Enclosed within these easily accessible walls is information just for you!
Improve your life, your golf performance, and your health and wellness.

Benefits of golf

Golf benefits you physically, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually and socially. For one, physical activity reduces the risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, and cancers. Next, it is a four-hour walk amongst nature offering intellectual, social and emotional connections. Finally, activities on the golf range, putting green and course enable you to gain the physical, psychological and social benefits that golf can offer.

The real prize? Golf is linked to an extra 5-years of life. For that reason alone, play golf!

The Titleist Performance Institute connection

The Titleist Performance Institute uses a holistic approach and innovative technologies along with science-based player conditioning to help golfers improve their performance.  Heather is a Level 3 Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Trainer.  Her fitness philosophy is based on TPI principles.  A properly functioning body allows a player to swing the golf club in the most efficient way possible.  Physical limitations can hinder a golfer’s swing and lead to injury.  The goal of the program is to evaluate your body’s current capabilities and develop a plan creating strength, flexibility and body awareness.

Fit for golf and fit for life

Golf, (especially when played with a body that is relatively strong, fit and flexible) improves balance, strength, and function.  These benefits go beyond being a good golfer because as we age, it’s highly likely our physical capabilities will decline unless attention is paid to maintaining, strength and flexibility.  Golf is an activity that can be pursued for many years.  Being “fit for golf” is being “fit for life!”

You don’t need to be a golfer to benefit from this program or improve your life.  Your participation will improve your body for hiking, skiing, biking, and many other physical activities.  But golf is Heather’s passion and to begin you will need a Golf Fitness Assessment.

Your personal program

This starting point is the base from which your personal program will be developed allowing you:

-to increase your distance, accuracy, and consistency.
-be physically capable of golfing more rounds in a season.
-eliminate the thought that aches and pains and a rising handicap are part of aging.
-move more easily and efficiently.
-reduce your risk of injury on and off the course.
-improve your physicality and your golf performance.
-to grow confident – knowing you are becoming stronger and healthier.
